Lithuania Unveils Artists for Eurovizija.LT 2025 National Selection
The Eurovision 2025 season is heating up, and Lithuania is ready to join the action. Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has announced the 45 artists competing in Eurovizija.LT 2025, the country’s national selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest. The winner will represent Lithuania in Basel, Switzerland, this May.
From 81 song submissions, 45 have been selected by LRT to compete in the competition.

The lineup features a mix of familiar faces and new talent. Among the notable names are two former Eurovision representatives:
• Ieva Zasimauskaitė, who captivated Europe with her heartfelt ballad “When We’re Old” in 2018, securing Lithuania a spot in the Grand Final.
• Vilija Matačiūnaitė, known for her bold performance of “Attention” in 2014.
Many other artists have previously competed in Lithuania’s Eurovision selection, promising a strong and varied contest. Three entries have already been released, giving fans an early glimpse of what’s to come.

Eurovizija.LT 2025: The Format
This year’s Eurovizija.LT will span six weeks, with five Heats leading up to the Grand Final. Here’s the schedule:
• Heat 1: 11 January 2025
• Heat 2: 18 January 2025
• Heat 3: 25 January 2025
• Heat 4: 1 February 2025
• Heat 5: 8 February 2025
• Final: 15 February 2025
Each Heat will feature nine acts, and the top two from each Heat, as determined by a 50/50 split between jury and public votes, will advance to the Final.
In the Grand Final, 10 acts will perform, and the competition will be decided over two rounds of voting. The first round will narrow the field to three acts with the highest combined jury and public points. The Superfinal will then be decided entirely by public voting, crowning Lithuania’s Eurovision 2025 representative.
