How Were the Finalists Chosen?

TVP, Poland’s national broadcaster, opened a submission window in November for artists eager to compete. After receiving entries, a professional jury of 9 to 15 members reviewed the submissions. The panel comprised representatives from TVP, artists, media professionals, and Eurovision fans, ensuring a diverse range of perspectives.

From these entries, 25 songs were shortlisted. Selected artists participated in a live casting round, though some acts were directly qualified for the final. Ultimately, 10 artists advanced to the televised final, with two additional reserve entries chosen in case of withdrawals or unforeseen changes.

The Final

Poland’s Eurovision 2025 preselection final will be broadcast live on February 14, 2025, from Warsaw. In a departure from previous editions, the winner will be determined entirely by a public SMS vote, reflecting the voice of the nation.

To ensure the process runs smoothly, TVP has prepared a contingency plan. In the event of technical issues with SMS voting, a backup jury will step in to select the winner. After the final, TVP will publish the complete SMS voting results to maintain transparency.
