Having Spain return back to Junior Eurovision has been one of the delights of recent years. Just like their entries of JESC’s first years, their entries of recent years have also been a delight. Now we have Sandra Valero. Again, Spain sends an entry that knows how to charm. Here, Sandra performs a catchy song with a bit of an early-60’s feel. Maybe Lissandro’s win from last year has something to do with it. It’s an easy song to like.
JESC Chances:
Spain’s entries do very well as long as it’s something that will stand out and have what it takes to win crowds. This song is an easy charmer. There are times when the song risks being dismissed as “cutesy” but Sandra has the talent and the enthusiasm to deliver in this song. The right staging can make this song go far and even end up among the top.
