Ruth Lorenzo
Ruth Lorenzo is no stranger to Eurovision fans, having represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. The Murcia-born singer secured a Top 10 finish in Copenhagen with her hit Dancing In The Rain. Over the past decade, Ruth’s music career has flourished, and she has also ventured into television hosting, including Spain’s Eurovision pre-selection show, Benidorm Fest.
Reflecting on her upcoming role as a Junior Eurovision host, Ruth expressed her excitement: “This is a responsibility like few others I have ever had as a presenter. I live it with the same enthusiasm, responsibility and fantasy as the young artists that will come to Madrid to share their music“.

Melani García, a familiar face in the Junior Eurovision world, represented Spain at the 2019 contest in Gliwice, Poland. With her song Marte, she earned Spain a third-place finish, scoring 212 points. Since then, Melani has expanded her career, releasing new music and working in theatre and television. In 2022, she was nominated for Best Spanish Artist at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, following her win on La Voz Kids in 2018.
Looking ahead to her hosting role, Melani shared her excitement: “Being there and living the experience from another point of view is one of my dreams. I will take the stage as an artist but also as a Eurofan, and I will try to make sure that you enjoy the festival as much as I will”.
Earlier in September, it was confirmed that 17 countries will participate in the 22nd Junior Eurovision Song Contest, marking the return of Cyprus and San Marino to the competition.
The contest’s theme was also unveiled, with Let’s Bloom chosen as the official slogan for 2024. In addition, organizers offered a first look at the stage design, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect at this year’s event.
