What Makes This Edition Special
Several of the entrants are familiar faces in the Eurovision and Eesti Laul realm. Vanilla Ninja represented Switzerland at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest. Getter Jaani represented Estonia at Eurovision 2011. The Stockholm Cowboys duo brings together two former Eurovision participants: Stig Rästa (2015) and Victor Crone (2019). And many of this year’s artists have participated in the Estonian national selection before.
The selection process remains rigorous: the jury evaluated entries “blind” (without knowing the artist names) to select the finalists. With the song premiere date fixed for 4 December and the final in February, the next few months will be busy with preparation, promotion and perhaps surprise collaborations.
