The Cypriot broadcaster CyBC has officially announced Theo Evan as the country’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. The song he will perform in Basel will be unveiled at a later date.
The first artist for Eurovision 2025 has been announced: Theo Evan. The Cypriot broadcaster CyBC has internally selected Evan to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel next May.

Theo Evan (Evangelos Theodorou) born in Nicosia (birthday on 16th May according to his Facebook, or 26th November 1997 according to Wikipedia), Cyprus, has been immersed in music and dance since the age of seven. A singer, dancer, and songwriter, Theo’s passion for the arts has been the driving force throughout his life.

In his early years, Theo took dance classes, sang in school choirs, and performed in numerous theatre productions and talent shows across Cyprus, earning recognition and awards for his talents. After graduating in 2017 from The English School in Nicosia, he pursued his dream further by studying music and performance at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
Since debuting with his single “The Wall” in 2021, Theo has built an impressive catalog of music, influenced by a diverse range of artists including Stromae, Michael Jackson, and reggaeton. His artistic journey has also led him to the screen, where he made a cameo appearance in HBO’s hit series Euphoria.
