Azerbaijan’s Eurovision Song Contest 2025 entry has officially been revealed. The band Mamagama, who were internally selected by broadcaster İTV, will represent the country in Basel, Switzerland, with their song “Run With U.”
Mamagama: A Rising Force in Azerbaijani Music
Formed in 2021, Mamagama is one of the most dynamic and original bands in Azerbaijan’s music scene. The trio consists of:
• Asaf (vocals)
• Huss (guitar)
• Arif (drums)
The band has gained recognition for its energetic performances and genre-blending sound. They have captivated audiences at international music festivals, including an award-winning appearance at Albania’s Kënga Magjike Music Festival in 2022 with their song “Dreamer.”
The name Mamagama carries deep symbolism:
• Mama – representing the ultimate creator, the source of life and nurturing force.
• Gama – symbolizing the full spectrum of sound, from the highest frequencies to timeless musical scales.
Speaking about their selection, lead singer Asaf expressed his excitement:
“It’s an honor for me to represent Azerbaijan on such a big stage. I deeply love the land where I was born, and this is a chance to share its beauty and spirit with all of Europe.”
