For the first time in years, Greece is bringing back a national selection process to choose its Eurovision representative. After years of internal selections, the return of a national final signals not just a shift in strategy but also a renewed commitment to engaging the public and showcasing Greece’s musical talent on a larger stage.
Ethnikós Telikós 2025 (“National Final 2025”) will take place on 30 January at the Christmas Theatre in Galatsi, Athens, signaling a determined return to form for the nation.
Greek broadcaster ERT has unveiled a field of 12 competing artists, selected from a staggering 187 submissions. Three additional acts have been kept in reserve as backups, a prudent move considering the high stakes.
