Eurovision season is in full swing, and one of the biggest preview events on the calendar has once again taken center stage. Eurovision in Concert 2024 took place on April 13th at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, bringing together 29 of the 37 competing artists from this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
A Tradition of Eurovision Excitement
Founded in 2009 by a group of passionate Dutch Eurovision fans, Eurovision in Concert has grown into one of the most prestigious and anticipated pre-contest events. The concert provides fans with a first glimpse of live performances from their favorite Eurovision acts, while also giving artists a chance to showcase their songs in front of an enthusiastic international audience.
The event has expanded significantly over the years, consistently attracting a large number of acts from the competing countries. It offers a valuable opportunity for artists to test their performances, connect with Eurovision fans, and build momentum ahead of the main event.
A Star-Studded Evening in Amsterdam
This year’s show was hosted by Dutch Eurovision commentator Cornald Maas, alongside Charlotte Perrelli, Sweden’s Eurovision 1999 winner and 2008 participant.
The lineup featured a mix of established artists and rising stars, all set to compete at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, Sweden.

Adding to the excitement, Eurovision 2009 winner Alexander Rybak made a special guest appearance, performing his legendary song Fairytale.
