Premier of the Manchester Eurovision Festival (MEF) The MancHagen will take place on 11, 12 & 13th April in Manchester

Get ready for The MancHagen Eurovision Festival 2025—the ultimate pre-party bringing the electrifying magic of Eurovision straight to Manchester! After its dazzling debut in Copenhagen, this festival is set to take the UK by storm from April 11th to 13th, 2025.

Promising to be one of the biggest and boldest Eurovision events ever, it’s a collaboration between the Manchester Eurovision Party, Copenhagen Eurovision Party, MalmoHagen, and United By You in Ukraine. This celebration of music, love, and diversity is sure to become the UK’s premier alternative Eurovision extravaganza.

This isn’t just a festival—it’s a full-throttle “Eurovision fever dream” like no other! With two epic concerts featuring Eurovision 2025 acts on their European promotional tour, you can expect performances that will have you dancing and singing your heart out. After the record-breaking debut in Copenhagen—with jaw-dropping LED Main Stage performances, a red-carpet parade, and award-winning Danish drag queens—Manchester is next in line to host this festival of dreams.

Imagine yourself in two sparkling venues, surrounded by Eurovision fans from across the globe, sharing in the joy, togetherness, and positive vibes that only Eurovision can deliver. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the contest or just love an incredible party, The MancHagen is the place to be! VIP guests will even have the chance to strut down the Yellow Carpet Parade in their glitteriest, most outrageous outfits, celebrating in true Eurovision style.

But The MancHagen isn’t just about music—it’s an LGBTQIA+ celebration of diversity, equality, and love, blending a Scandinavian smorgasbord of style with the multiculturalism, class, and resilience that Manchester is known for. The festival will also highlight Manchester’s multicultural roots while showcasing Ukrainian cultural contributions, focusing on the power of music to promote peace. With Manchester being home to the UK’s second-largest Ukrainian population, expect an extra layer of international flair, including performances from Ukrainian artists.

With a capacity up to 5,500 attendees, across the two festival concerts, The MancHagen aims to become the world’s second-largest Eurovision pre-party, after Amsterdam. The Friday concert will be held at Chaos Karts (max 1,500 capacity), and the Saturday concert at Depot Mayfield (max 4,000 capacity), followed by an afterparty with two rooms in the same award-winning venue. This space, renowned for hosting iconic events like Homobloc and the Warehouse Project, promises an epic experience for all.

Attendees will have access to exclusive meet-and-greets, activities for all ages, and performances by Eurovision stars—plus a global lineup featuring previous Eurovision winners! From drag shows, choreography classes, and Eurovision-themed quizzes to karaoke, bingo, and kids’ entertainment, including face painting and fancy dress, there’s something for everyone.

But this festival isn’t just about fun—it’s also about giving back. Every ticket sold will help raise funds for charities including Doctors Without Borders, United By Dream (supporting Ukrainian children), FTSB (advocating for Danish trans communities), and a local LGBTQIA+ Manchester charity. So while you’re soaking up the magic of Eurovision, you’re also making a difference.

MancHagen just announced the first host for the Saturday concert: Blu Hydrangea, winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs The World Season 1. Stay tuned as two more hosts for Saturday and two additional hosts for the Friday concert will be revealed soon. Both concerts will feature Eurovision 2025 acts, with the artists and TV companies deciding the lineup.
