Klavdia Wins Ethnikós Telikós 2025 and Will Represent Greece at Eurovision

Greece has chosen its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, and it will be Klavdia with the song Asteromáta. After a thrilling night at Ethnikós Telikós 2025, held at the Christmas Theater in Athens, Klavdia emerged victorious among 12 competing artists, securing her place on the Eurovision stage in Basel this May.

The Greek national final was a spectacle, hosted by Eurovision legends Elena Paparizou (winner of Eurovision 2005) and Sakis Rouvas (Eurovision 2004 and 2009). The duo opened the night with a medley of Eurovision classics, including ABBA’s Waterloo, Johnny Logan’s Hold Me Now, and Marinella’s Krassi, Thalassa ke t’ Agori Mou—Greece’s first-ever Eurovision entry from 1974.

The show also featured performances from Greece’s 2024 Eurovision representative Marina Satti, who returned to the stage with her song Zari, as well as Cyprus’ 2025 act Theo Evan, who performed Fuego.

The Competition

Twelve acts competed for the coveted Eurovision ticket, with a mix of established names and rising stars delivering a variety of musical styles. After all performances, the final decision was determined by three voting groups:

Greek public vote (50%)

Greek jury (25%)

International jury (25%)

The international jury featured experts from Belgium, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Norway. Using the familiar Eurovision voting system, they awarded points to their top songs, culminating in a dramatic reveal of the top three contestants:

🥈 BARBZ – Sirens

🥇 Klavdia – Asteromáta

With strong support from both the public and the juries, Klavdia’s with her song Asteromáta triumphed in Ethnikós Telikós 2025, securing her place as Greece’s Eurovision 2025 representative.

Greece’s Road to Eurovision

Klavdia will perform in Semi-Final 2 on May 15, where she will compete for a place in the Grand Final.
