Serbia has just selected its representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. Luke Black, a talented Serbian singer-songwriter, has been chosen to represent the country with his song “Samo mi se spava” at the contest, which will take place in Liverpool this May.

The final show of Serbia’s national selection for Eurovision 2023 – Pesma za Evroviziju took place today from RTS Studio 8 in Belgrade. After two semi-finals, the top 16 finalists left, who performed tonight their songs in hopes of receiving enough votes to secure the victory.

The results were determined by a 50/50 voting style split between a professional jury and a public vote. After a thorough vote count, it was announced that Luke Black would be representing Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song “Samo mi se spava”.

“Samo mi se spava” is written by Luke Black himself. Luke Black’s music is known for its unique blend of dream-pop, synth-pop, and electro-pop. He has been active in the music industry since 2012 and has released three EPs during this time. Despite being shortlisted in 2016 as a possible representative for Serbia at Eurovision, Black did not end up participating.

Following the announcement of the results, Konstrakta (Serbia 2022) presented the top prize of Pesma za Evroviziju to her successor.
