Malta has officially confirmed its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 and announced the return of the Malta Eurovision Music Exchange Camp

Now in its third year, the initiative brings together songwriters and producers from Malta and across Europe to collaborate with local artists. The camp is designed to support the development of songs for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC), the national selection show.

Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) has also confirmed that MESC will once again be held in 2026 to choose Malta’s representative for the contest, which will take place in Austria following JJ’s win in Eurovision 2025.

The Malta Eurovision Music Exchange Camp 2025, which will take place in June 2025, is part of PBS ‘s ongoing commitment to raising the level of Malta’s representation in the Eurovision Song Contest , while offering an opportunity for artistic and creative development.

The selected participants will benefit from professional mentoring, practical workshops and lectures, all aimed at creating high-level songs with the potential to represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Conditions to apply:

  • Artist should have Maltese nationality or dual citizenship where one of them is Maltese.
  • Be at least 16 years old.
  • Send a video of a live performance , a short biography, and a copy of your ID card.

Applications must be submitted electronically via the official link https://bit.ly/MESCexchangeCamp2025   by Thursday, 5 June 2025 at 18:00 . Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

This initiative forms part of PBS’s long-term strategy to support new and established talent, while continuing to strengthen Malta’s presence on the European stage.
