The excitement for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2026 is officially underway! The grand reveal took place during a special broadcast on TVM, hosted by the popular Magic Radio duo Daniel and Ylenia.
Eighteen talented acts have earned their place in the semi-finals, each bringing a unique flair to Malta’s selection process. While the running order of the songs and artists is yet to be finalized, this dynamic lineup features a mix of experienced performers and exciting new voices, all ready to captivate the audience.
The 18 semi-finalists are:

- Kelsie Borg – “Let a Girl Breathe”
- Matthew Cilia – “Brutality Mentality”
- MATT BLXCK – “Ejja Lejja Ħdejjja ‘l Ħawn (The Flute)”
- Rhiannon Micallef – “Hold Myself Up”
- Mychael Bartolo Chircop – “My Sweet Angel”
- Aidan – “Bella”
- DENISE – “Trophy”

The MESC 2026 Semi-final will take place on Thursday, 15 January 2026, where all 18 acts will perform. A combination of jury and public voting will determine the 12 finalists who will advance to the next stage.
Two nights later, on Saturday, 17 January 2026, the MESC 2026 Final will take place. The 12 qualifiers will return to compete, and the winner will be selected to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.
