Piqued Jacks will represent San Marino at Eurovision 2023

Piqued Jacks won Una Voce per San Marino with the song “Like An Animal” and will represent the country in Liverpool at Eurovision 2023

Tonight, the final of San Marino’s national selection Una Voce per San Marino took place and the show was broadcast live from Teatro Nuovo in Dogana, San Marino, and hosted by Senhit (San Marino 2011 and 2021) and Israeli-Italian TV host Jonathan Kashanian.

Out of many submissions, the Sammarinese public broadcaster SMRTV shortlisted those to 106 and held live auditions earlier this week – 4 semi-finals and a second chance round, to reduce those to the final 21.

And tonight, the 21 competing acts performed once more and the jury decided that Piqued Jacks should represent San Marino at Eurovision 2023 with the song “Like An Animal”.

Results

The decision was 100% made by a professional jury that featured six members:

• Al Bano (Italian singer-songwriter, two-time Eurovision participant)
• Antonio Rospini (Italian musician)
• Charlotte Davis (British TV producer)
• Steve Lyon (British music producer)
• Dino Stewart (manager of BMG Italia)
• Clarissa Martinelli (Italian journalist)

The top 10 acts were placed in this order:

3. XGiove – “Fuoco e benzina”
4. Mayu – “C’è qualcosa in me che non funziona”
5. Eiffel 65 – “Movie Star”
6. Edoardo Brogi – “Due Punti Sull’equatore”
7. Ellynora – “Mama Told Me”
8. Tothem – “Sacro e profano”
9. E.E.F. – “Something for You”
10. Vina Rose – “Oblivious”
