Tamara Živković will represent Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with the song “Nova zora”, after winning the national selection Montesong 2025.

The grand final took place on 21 December 2025 at the RTCG Studios in Podgorica, where 15 artists competed for the Montenegrin ticket to the Eurovision stage. The selection was decided through a 50/50 combination of jury votes and public voting — the latter split between Montenegrin televote and international online votes.

Voting system

The winner was decided by a 50/50 split vote:

  • professional jury
  • public vote (including domestic televoting and international online voting)

This year’s Montesong also featured a historic change: international audiences were able to participate in voting alongside Montenegrin viewers, broadening the selection’s appeal and making the final result a truly pan-European moment.

In a year filled with strong contenders, fan polls and Eurovision communities had widely tipped Tamara as a favorite in the lead-up to the final. Her track was praised for its catchy chorus, distinctive Balkan flavour, and the potential for memorable staging on the Eurovision stage.
