Turin will host Eurovision 2022 with grand final set for 14 May!

Hurray! After a long wait, the host city of Eurovision 2022 has finally been announced. The EBU today announced that the 2022 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted in Turin. The grand final of Eurovision 2022 will be on 14 May 2022. The city’s host venue is the Pala Alpitour arena (formerly known as the PalaOlimpico) with more than 13,000 seats capacity.

Eurovision Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl was enthusiastic about the choice of host city, saying:

Turin is the perfect Host City for the 66th Eurovision Song Contest. As we saw during the 2006 Winter Olympics, PalaOlimpico exceeds all the requirements needed to stage a global event of this scale and we have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment from the City of Turin who will welcome thousands of fans next May.
