Switzerland has chosen its Eurovision 2025 artist! Swiss broadcaster SRF has announced that singer-songwriter Zoë Më will represent the country when the contest takes place on home soil in Basel this May.

Her song is set to be released on Monday 10 March at 10:00 CET.

On being selected, Zoë Më shared her excitement:

“Representing Switzerland at the ESC while we are hosting the contest is a huge honour and a surreal experience. I’m from Basel, and my grandparents live here. This is a full-circle moment, just like something out of a fairytale.”

Who is Zoë Më?

Zoë Më, 24, was born in Basel and grew up in Fribourg, a bilingual city where both German and French are spoken—something that heavily influences her music. She began writing songs at the age of 10, developing her signature “poetry-pop” style, which blends melodic storytelling with a mix of German and French lyrics.

Her talent has already been recognized in Switzerland. In 2024, she was named ‘SRF 3 Best Talent’, an award previously given to artists like Nemo and Marius Bear. That same year, she also received the ‘RTS Artiste Radar’ award.

Zoë Më has performed at prestigious events such as the Montreux Jazz Festival and Luzern Live, and she has supported artists like Remo Forrer and Joya Marleen on tour.

At 1.80 meters tall, she humorously describes herself as a “little fairy”, using music to bridge cultures and emotions.

The Road to Basel 2025

Switzerland, the host nation for this year’s Eurovision, has a strong track record in recent contests. Last year, Nemo won the competition in Liverpool, securing Switzerland’s third Eurovision victory and bringing the contest back to Basel for the first time.

Now, Zoë Më will step onto the Eurovision stage, hoping to continue Switzerland’s success.

Her Eurovision song will be unveiled on Monday 10 March via the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.
