The deadline for the cities to submit their bids to host Eurovision 2022 was on Monday 12th July. And we’ve seen already that cities – Turin, Pesaro, Bologna, Jesolo and Remini all confirm that they have sent in proposals to RAI. Now the host broadcaster has revealed that a total of 17 Italian cities (and regions) bidding to host 2022 song contest.

- Sanremo (Imperia)
- Turin
- Trieste
- Viterbo
Candidates must meet all the criteria set by the EBU in order to be honored to host the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. RAI will deliver application books to candidate cities on Wednesday 14 July, and they will have to submit full details of their proposal to host the world’s largest live music event by Wednesday 4 August.
The final decision will be made by RAI in conjunction with the EBU by the end of August.
