Spain has chosen its Eurovision 2025 entry! Melody has won the 4th edition of Benidorm Fest with her song Esa Diva, securing her place on the Eurovision stage in Basel, Switzerland, this May.
On Saturday, 3 February, Spain’s Palau Municipal d’Esports l’Illa de Benidorm played host to an exciting grand final, with Ruth Lorenzo, Paula Vázquez, and Inés Hernand guiding viewers through a night filled with music, energy, and high-stakes competition.
The voting system for this year’s Benidorm Fest was divided equally:
• 50% from an expert jury, made up of four national and four international music professionals.
• 50% from the public vote, which, for the first time, was available for free via the Benidorm Fest app.
By midnight, the results were in—Esa Diva had taken the crown, and Melody was officially Spain’s act for Eurovision 2025.

Who is Melody?
With over 25 years of experience, Melody is a household name in Spanish pop. She first rose to fame at just 10 years old with her hit El Baile del Gorila, which topped the charts in over 15 countries.
Since then, she has released six albums, with recent singles like Bandido and Mujer Loba proving her lasting appeal.
Beyond music, Melody has showcased her charisma and humor on Spanish television, appearing on hit shows such as Tu Cara Me Suena and Arde Madrid. Known for her versatility and stage presence, she remains one of Spain’s most beloved entertainers.
