The Albanian public has decided and chosen Besa Kokëdhima to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “Zemrën n’dorë”
After four captivating nights of music and performances at Festivali I Këngës 62, the nation has made its decision for the next Eurovision representative. Following in the successful footsteps of Albina & Familja Kelmendi, Besa Kokëdhima has been chosen by the Albanian public to carry the country’s flag at Eurovision 2024.
And as in last there are different winners – Mal Retkoceri wins Festivali I Këngës 62, and Besa Kokëdhima wins public voting and goes to Eurovision 2024 in Malmö.
The song, “Zemrën n’dorë,” secured its place as the anthem that will showcase Albania’s musical talent on the international stage. The song was written by Besa Kokëdhima, Kledi Bahiti, and Rozana Radi.

Born in Fier, Albania, 29 May 1986, Besa Kokëdhima, widely known as Besa, has been a prominent figure in the music industry since 2003. With a career spanning over two decades, she has amassed a rich repertoire of songs and albums, showcasing her versatility and enduring influence in the Albanian music scene.
In 2009, Besa took part in Romania’s Eurovision selection, called Selecţia Naţională 2009. She reached the semi-finals with her song “Nothing Gonna Change.” Then, in 2013, she won the 15th edition of Kënga Magjike.
Besa didn’t stop there. She also entered Notafest with her R&B song “Lëshoje Hapin,” winning 1st place. Additionally, at Top Fest, she was crowned best female singer for her song “Kalorësi I Natës.”
Besa’s songs have done well in Albania. In 2016, her track “123” (featuring Flori Mumajesi) made it to number 8 on the charts. Another success came in 2020 when her song “C’est la vie” (featuring BledBeats) claimed the top spot at number 1. This shows Besa’s consistent and decent success in the Albanian music scene.
