Jaklin Baghdasaryan, (birthday April 22, 1997), hails from Yeghegnadzor, Armenia. Her upbringing took her to Minsk, Belarus, before relocating to France with her mother in 2014.

Louis Thomas, (birthday January 22, 1987), was raised in Lille, France. Growing up immersed in a rich musical environment, he developed a deep passion for music from an early age.

Both Baghdasaryan and Thomas pursued formal music education at the Conservatoire de Lille in France. It was here, in 2018, that they crossed paths and began their musical journey together.

In 2020, Ladaniva made their mark with the release of their first two music videos, “Vay Aman” and “Zepyuri Nman,” gaining significant traction amidst the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their video for the track “Kef Chilini” garnered immense attention, amassing over 18 million views within the initial months of its release.

The momentum continued in the following year, as they unveiled their debut self-titled album, which was both produced and distributed by PIAS, further solidifying their position in the music industry.

In addition to their singles and album, Ladaniva received acclaim in 2022, securing a Music Moves Europe Award from the Public Choice Award.
