She furthered her education by studying jazz at the Nakas Conservatory and earning a second degree in advanced classical studies. In 2010, Marina spent two semesters studying jazz composition and contemporary writing at the Berklee College of Music in Boston on a scholarship.
Post-graduation, Marina engaged in various musical groups, including the European Jazz Orchestra, a cappella group The Singing Tribe, and the founding of the female a cappella group Fonés (“Voices”), dedicated to performing traditional polyphonic songs.
In 2016, Marina Satti released her debut single, “Koupes” (“Cups”), accumulating over 27 million views on YouTube. Her second single, “Mantissa” (“Seeress”), released in 2017, made it to the European Union’s Official Top 100 and Bulgaria’s Top 40. Global Citizen hailed it as the “song of the summer.”
May 2022 marked the release of Marina’s first album, “YENNA” (“BIRTH”), which enjoyed considerable commercial success. Marina actively engages in projects promoting traditional music across Europe, contributing to her current position in her career.
