Moldova in Eurovision

Moldova has been a steadfast participant in the Eurovision Song Contest since making its debut in 2005. Over the years, the country has established itself as a creative and energetic presence on the Eurovision stage.

The nation’s best result came in 2017 when Sunstroke Project charmed Europe with their infectious hit “Hey Mamma”, earning an impressive 3rd place in the Grand Final.

Out of Moldova’s 19 appearances, they have successfully qualified for the Grand Final 13 times. Moldova’s national selection has a reputation for producing standout Eurovision entries, with past representatives like Sunstroke Project, Zdob și Zdub and Pasha Parfeni leaving their mark on the Eurovision stage.
