France has been extremely lucky in Junior Eurovision since their comeback in 2018. Three wins and the last four Contests had them first place in the juries each time! Representing this year is 14 year-old Titouan Hervo from Quimper. It’s a song about how we’re all different but also one. The beginning will first have you thinking think the song is a ballad, but it gets into its fast tempo before the first chorus. It reminds you that despite the theme, the song is not that intense, but more of a celebration.

It’s tempting to dismiss it as another jury winner for France. Even though we haven’t seen any staging, we have good reason. Mind you this song does sound like less of an attention-grabber than France’s most recent entries of the past. I can definitely see this being Top 10 and quite likely Top 5, but I don’t see it as a strong contender for the win. I’m sure France doesn’t want to win again because of the difficulty and cost of organizing a Contest. Three is enough. Nevertheless I anticipate this song to still do well. We’ll have to see what staging offers.
