Group’s rock cover hits No. 1 on the Spotify Global Viral charts! Last week “Beggin’” hit #1 on the German charts, and this week it’s hit #5 in the UK. It’s also been making waves in the Top 10 in Austria, Norway, The Netherlands and beyond.
These kids just made it to the first place in the global chart
Måneskin wrote on Instagram after their cover of “Beggin’” hit number one on the Spotify Global Viral Chart. The band — that’s Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis, Thomas Raggi and Ethan Torchio — celebrated by sharing a gallery on Instagram which showed them as children.
The band first performed the song in 2017 while they were competing on the eleventh season of X Factor Italia. They never released it as a single, but it managed to hit #39 on the Italian Singles Chart anyway and a year later FIMI certified it as a gold record.
It’s incredible how Eurovision 2021 given the group extra push and drive!
