Swiss Broadcaster SRF has announced that it will be Remo Forrer who will represent country in Liverpool, at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest
A panel of 100 viewers and an international expert jury (20 musical professionals) have been chosen the singer and the song that will represent Switzerland in Liverpool in May: Remo Forrer, will represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023.
Remo Forrer’s Eurovision song will be released on 7 March.
Remo Forrer won the third season of The Voice of Switzerland back in 2020, and last year he appeared on the RTL show Show us your voice!
Since then, Remo Forrer has worked intensively on his career as a singer, has released two singles, and has been able to gain a lot of stage experience with numerous appearances at various events.
For the 21-year-old musician from Hemberg, getting the opportunity to represent his country at the world’s biggest music contest is a dream come true:
For a Swiss musician, there is nothing greater than the Eurovision Song Contest. For me, it’s the music equivalent of the Champions League and an enormous honour.
