Two weeks ago, the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR) has announced Remo Forrer as the official representative of Switzerland at Eurovision 2023. Now, the Swiss have revealed that Forrer will be taking to the stage in May to perform his song “Watergun.”
Switzerland has chosen Remo Forrer to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, after an intense internal selection process.
The internal selection panel was comprised of 100 viewers and 20 music professionals, who reviewed several potential Swiss representatives before choosing Forrer. The panel was tasked with selecting a performer who could showcase the best of Swiss music and entertain a diverse audience from across Europe.
The inclusion of both viewers and music professionals in the selection process ensured a balanced and well-informed decision. The 100 viewers were selected from a pool of Eurovision enthusiasts who had submitted their applications, while the 20 professional jurors were experts in the music industry, with extensive experience in songwriting, production, and performance.
