Starting next Saturday 20th November are the Eesti Laul quater-finals!
This means we will get to hear 10 songs for the first time, on the show, every week!
🎼 202 songs were submitted for Eesti Laul 2022.
🔍 Some interesting facts:
🔹 84 of the songs are in Estonian and 118 in foreign languages
🔹 Besides English, Spanish, French and Italian, there were also songs in a made up language
🔹 7 singers who have sent their songs have represented Estonia at Eurovision once in the past 30 years.
🎶 A total of 40 songs will take part in the competition. Jury judged the songs anonymously. Information about the performers and authors in the preliminary round was not shared with the jury. Eesti Laul will publish the names of the members of the preliminary round jury together with the names of the winners soon.
Eesti Laul 2022 will consist of a total of 7 shows ( 4 quarter finals, 2 semifinals and 1 Grand Final).
