The live final of Junior Songfestival 2022 took place this evening at the RTM Stage in Ahoy Rotterdam. The show was hosted by two former Dutch Junior Eurovision representatives: Stefania Liberakakis and Matheu Hinzen, who represented country in 2016 and 2019, respectively.
Four participants competed to represent The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2022:
- Infinity – “Never Ever”
- MixedUp – “It Doesn’t Matter”
- High5 – “Because I Know”
- Luna – “La festa” (The party)
As ever the winner of Junior Songfestival 2022 will decided by 33% public vote, 33% adult jury and 33% children’s jury.
On the adult jury were:
- Chantal Janzen – Host of the Eurovision Song Contest 2021, TV Host, Actress and Singer
- Fleming – Singer and songwriter
- Glen Faria – Singer
On the kid’s jury were:
- Ayana – Represented the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2021 in Paris
- Shine – Placed second in Junior Songfestival 2021
- Priscilla – Placed fourth in Junior Songfestival 2021
The final results are:
- Luna – “La festa” = 36 points
- MixedUp – “It Doesn’t Matter” = 30 points
- High5 – “Because I Know” = 27 points
- Infinity – “Never Ever” = 24 points
At the end Luna has won Junior Songfestival 2022 and will represent the Netherlands at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “La festa” 🎉
