Just two months after the grand finale of Eurovision, RTVE presents the third edition of the Benidorm Fest!
With the deadline open so that anyone who wishes to participate can propose their candidacy, we now know new details of the contest. The winning song will represent Spain next year at Eurovision, which returns to Malmö to coincide with the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s victory.
From Benidorm we get the latest news about the event, which the city of Alicante will host again in a few months. With the Poniente beach in the background, RTVE reveals in a press conference the dates on which the festival will be held. Ana María Bordas and César Vallejo, co-directors of the third edition of the Benidorm Fest, are in charge of announcing this and other details.
Dates of the semifinals and the grand final
We already know which days the third edition of the Benidorm Fest will be held!
- The first semi-final on January 30, 2024
- The second semi-final on February 1 .
- On Saturday February 3 will be the Grand Final.
November 11, announcement of participating artists
16 artists, groups or soloists, will participate in the Benidorm Fest 2024 and we already have the exact date on which we will know who the finally selected artists will be. They will be announced on November 11, in Seville, under the umbrella of the Latin Grammy Awards, whose gala will be co-produced by RTVE and TelevisaUnivision.
